Emmanuel Pierre is an exceptional community development agent, youth counselor, and youth leader hailing from Jacmel, Haiti. He has been playing a pivotal role in community development since 2006. In 2008, he began working with underprivileged children and envisioned a large house that could welcome children from all walks of life. This vision led to the creation of Pitit Kay (Household Children), an organization aimed at guiding homeless children.

In July 2014, Emmanuel organized his first summer camp, which was attended by around 80 children. The success of this event led to the launch of Pitit Kay Ayiti. The following year, Emmanuel organized his second summer camp, which welcomed over 200 children. During this camp, children learned about the importance of environmental protection, spent time on biblical studies, and received classes on protection against sexual abuse.

In the same year, Emmanuel expanded his support to a wide range of objectives. He worked towards finding sources of scholarships, created workshops for evangelization, and trained some of the youths to become leaders to pursue work with children.

In 2017, Emmanuel shifted his focus to a group of children in the Lamontay community of Jacmel, Haiti. This community had a low level of education, and six out of ten children were exposed to violence. Emmanuel's objectives for this work were:

• to support children in their education, help them obtain school supplies, and pay their school fees,

• create fun activities to help them grow in a healthy social environment,

• teach them how to protect their environment.

Emmanuel has been able to advance the various activities of Pitit Kay Ayiti for over 7 years, thanks to the limited financial support of his family members, friends, and his own resources. Today, Pitit Kay Ayiti continues to pay the school fees of over 50 children. The organization offers children music lessons and other educational activities, a source of happiness for the children. The leaders work tirelessly to change the lives of children, bringing them hope despite living in an environment where the children are confronted with a bleak and uncertain future.

Emmanuel's unwavering dedication to Pitit Kay Ayiti has brought significant progress to the organization and the children who benefit from it. Despite the challenges he faces, Emmanuel continues to work tirelessly to create a better future for the children. Pitit Kay Ayiti offers a safe haven for Haitian children, providing them with education, support, and a loving environment, which will enable them to grow and lead fulfilling lives.
